Job description

The North American Product Supply (NAM PS) team ensures that 30,000 products annually are purchased and manufactured on time to meet the needs of adidas customers and consumers.
The NAM PS Business Process Management (BPM) team develops and maintains the processes and systems that measurably improve adidas' product availability to customers, sales performance, production forecast accuracy, and inventory efficiency for a subset of business units and supply chain programs.
This role will focus on the Product Supply Operations (PSO) space, partnering with other BPM analysts to make sure the systems and tools are functioning as expected and the team is supported both from a process and technical perspective. PSO is primarily responsible for purchase order management from PO creation until the product ships from the factory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall systematic integrity of supply planning parameters to ensure accurate planning and purchasing execution.
- Develop and continuously refine the understanding of the interdependencies between systems, data, and processes.
- Trains and supports the Product Supply team to optimally utilize systems, tools, and organizational resources to meet or exceed key performance targets. Ensures proper documentation of all operational processes and tools.
- Uses in-depth knowledge of the extended supply chain to identify opportunities for process improvement and develop new tools and/or methods to better manage available information within the Product Supply organization.
- Serves as a liaison with IT for aspects of the development, clarification, and implementation of Product Supply-generated requests for change (RFC) and a point person for IT-driven changes (e.g., system upgrades or projects). These duties may include developing and executing test scripts related to key processes.
- Support key NAM SCM projects as a Product Supply subject matter expert. Deliver against agreed upon milestones and provide progress updates to the extended team.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Four-year degree from an accredited college or university in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Management Science, or similar area. We welcome other relevant experience or a combination of education and experience in place of formal education or a degree.
- Minimum 4+ years of related progressive work experience and/or training.
- Experience in planning systems (SAP highly preferred) and reporting platforms (BI, MicroStrategy, etc.).
