The Business Process Management (BPM) organization contributes to PVH's transformation through global adoption of new and enduring business capabilities. Our mission is to lead, listen and partner to create extraordinary value for our brands through process excellence. BPM optimizes business processes to deliver consistent, core capabilities balanced with flexibility to support value add brand/regional differences.
The BPM Business Process Transformation Team operates as internal consultants across PVH enterprise leading the design and implementation of leading business practices for strategic transformation programs. The team serves as subject matter experts, guiding and supporting business units/regions on integrated strategies/roadmaps, business process design, development of capabilities and systems, performance metrics, transformation enablement & adoption, value realization, and continuous improvement.
The primary responsibility of the Senior Director, Business Process - Product Creation & Digital Go To Market is to serve as a strategic thought partner, change agent, and trusted advisor to advance & optimize PVH's end-to-end Product Creation & Go To Market business processes, capabilities, & performance spanning design, develop, merchandise, assort, & commercialization.This position actively collaborates with business and IT partners to align, define, & implement transformation initiatives advancing PVH's Product Creation & Go To Market processes & capabilities to deliver business value. Challenges process status quo and influences PVH to evolve business capabilities toward industry best practices and unlock value. This position will guide and govern the Product Creation & Go To Market processes & digital capabilities ensuring alignment with business strategies/requirements, partner with business & IT to ensure successful implementation focusing on business process transformation & adoption, and drive continuous improvement & best practice sharing across the business units.
This leadership role requires significant influencing at multiple levels in the organization to align and optimize PVH's Product Creation & Go To Market processes and capabilities across brands, business units, & functions. This role provides guidance, coaching and mentoring to direct and indirect reports and works seamlessly with broader Business Process team to strategically influence PVH's end-to-end process vision and to ensure operational excellence across the organization. Works closely with cross-functional partners to align technical solutions with business needs and enhance connectivity of business units, regions, functional areas and IT solutions/systems. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
- Lead with business units, functional leaders, & IT partners to guide, advise, and align on future state Product Creation & Go To Market processes & digital capabilities roadmap, enabling transformation initiatives, & business case for improvements
- Provide thought leadership in Product Creation & Go To Market strategies & practices to elevate PVH processes & solutions capabilities to drive value and help guide business units to evolve digital product creation maturity toward industry best practices
- Liaise cross-functionally on integration of Product Creation & Go To Market processes & initiatives with enterprise process & data domains and serve as a key strategic contributor to PVH's End to End Future State Process vision
- Partner with business & IT in the implementation of Product Creation & Go To Market digital capabilities; lead & facilitate key business activities including business requirements, capability design reviews, data validation, user acceptance testing, and business readiness/adoption
- Own management of Product Creation & Go To Market transformation initiatives/projects focusing on development of project plans, timelines, & resourcing for business enablement/adoption of new processes and solutions. Define relevant metrics and dashboards to facilitate business ownership.
- Drive standardized Product Creation & Go To Market metrics to measure adoption & ROI/value realization of transformation initiatives
- Spearhead current state Product Creation & Go To Market process discovery & assessment to understand business requirements & improvement opportunities for new capabilities
- Drive future state vision, definition, & optimization of Product Creation & Go To Market processes leveraging new digital capabilities; elevate & engage senior leadership to ensure PVH pushes "to be" state away from historical limitations and current processes/systems
- Partner with business to align value-based prioritization of digital capability enhancements across business units to optimize Product Creation & Go To Market process
- Partner & advise business units in understanding "from/to" change impacts, assessing process & organizational readiness, and implementing change readiness action plans to ensure successful adoption
- Oversee development of Product Creation & Go To Market "day in the life" business process playbooks, how-to guides, and procedure documentation
- Coach, guide, & mentor cross-functional leadership & teams in application of Product Creation & Go To Market leading practices & optimizing use of digital capabilities & tools
- Establish Product Creation & Go To Market standards & guidelines (i.e. style creation, tech pack stages, product libraries, etc.) for business units to optimize capability usage and process performance
- Support delivery of Product Creation & Go To Market "day in the life" training to cross-functional leadership, teams, & power users; implement pre and post go-live evaluations to identify risks and drive training/adoption corrective actions
- Chair cross business unit forums to exchange Product Creation & Go To Market best practices, transfer knowledge, share adoption successes and learnings, and drive continuous improvement opportunities
- Champion the on-going development of the BPM team's business transformation methodology & toolkit to enhance delivery & adoption success
- Stay apprised of latest process and technology capabilities that can be applied to PVH Product Creation & Go To Market domain__________________________________________________________________________
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years operational and/or consulting experience in Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Product Lifecycle Management, & Digital Product Creation ideally in a Fashion/Apparel/Footwear omni-channel environment
- Minimum 5 years supervisory role/experience managing a team
- Proven experience leading digital transformation initiatives, influencing key decision makers in cross-functional setting, driving process & capability improvements, and managing transformational change
- 5+ years' experience with leading digital Product Creation & Go To Market solutions - Centric or other PLM solutions, Browzwear or other 3D digital design tools, visual assortment management tools, & product information management (PIM) solutions. Ideally involved in the design & implementation of digital capabilities. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion/Apparel Product Design, Fashion/Apparel Merchandising, or other related field. MBA a plus.
- Training in Business Process Management is preferred but not requiredSkills:
- Fully conversant in Product Creation and Go to Market concepts, leading practice business processes, and functional & digital capabilities
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing a business transformation initiative, process and system implementation project, and cross-functional teams
- Is a change agent with analytical, conceptual thinking, strategic and execution skills
- Effective communication & collaboration skills with ability to partner with & influence across functional areas and at all levels of the organization
- Expert facilitator who drives closure and aligned decision making
- The ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies; get to root cause and solve problems
- Strong quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills with demonstrated use of data analysis and metrics to drive decision making and continuous improvement
- Proven ability to develop teams and educate and train others in new ways of doing business
