Job description

Who we are looking for
Join the Marketing Technology team. Build outstanding, brand, consumer and sports marketing capabilities to power demand generation efficiency, member engagement and retention. Marketing Technology will do this by creating deeper focus in specific areas like creative assets management, tagging, personalization and strategic partnerships.
What you will work on
As the Senior Director of Creative & Marketing Assets Technology, you will lead the tech strategy, build, deployment and adoption of systems like digital asset management, media production workflow, asset meta-data, dynamic asset optimization and integration with tools in the marketing eco-system. Lead and build positive relationship with product and business partners to influence product roadmaps, efficient adoption and use of capabilities.
What you will work with
You will be a transformative technology leader with a keen eye for business and experience in bringing marketing capabilities to life with strategic partners. Leading cross-functional teams of engineers, technical product & program managers. You will influence the strategy end-to-end across technology and partner closely with shared enterprise data and architecture teams. You will partner with Product peers and Business Leaders to craft the digital systems of the future.
You will guide the team within a matrixed environment to continually improve upon its ability to deliver fast, reliably, at global scale, and to the delight of our consumers.
Responsibilities
- You will connect to Nike's corporate strategies and help the teams understand how their work contributes to the success of the company.
- Help turn strategy into roadmaps.
- Build an environment where seamless delivery of major roadmap items is the norm.
- Set and publish goals for large technical investments. You'll report back with data on performance compared to goals.
- Build great teams and empower them to do their best work by being well informed by strategy and goals.
- Develop the technical roadmap and promote the value of technical investment with data and storytelling.
- Deliver technical initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional partners within business and operational groups to deliver consumer value without negative impact to existing business or consumer experience.
- Collaborate with your peers to constantly stay on the top tier edge of standard methodologies inside and outside of Nike.
- Partner across all functions and collaborate with leaders in all functions to deliver on strategy.
- You will run highly scalable and resilient systems to gracefully handle volatile workload patterns.

Profile

What you bring
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business or engineering preferred.
- 10+ years of professional experience.
- 6+ years of leadership experience. Preferred to have led engineering teams.
- Depth in implementing digital asset capabilities preferred.
- Strong understanding of scalable platforms and technologies.
- Demonstrated team leadership and development.
- Proven success and experience delivering clear executive level communications.
- Self-directed and adept at working in ambiguous environments.
- The ability to establish credibility through vision, thought leadership, technical expertise and implementation.
- Ability to lead globally distributed engineering teams
- Ability to travel 10%.
