Senior Director, Global Marketing - Philosophy (Fragrance + Body)

Job description

The Senior Director Global Marketing is responsible for leading the global Fragrance, Bath & Body & Promotions categories driving market share and business growth. This position will drive a leading innovation strategy, disruptive product development and go to market strategies to meet the needs of the business.

We're looking for a Senior director to join our Global Marketing team. In this integral role, you will guide the strategy, bring new innovation to life, and drive ground-breaking campaigns. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global, you will get to work across many different categories, develop meaningful programs and disrupt the beauty market.

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Develop strategic category plan, complete with outlined objectives, market opportunities, strategy and tactics, ensuring growth goals are met for key categories: Fine-Fragrance, Bath & Body, Holiday, ongoing promotional sets.
- Build out 3-year calendar and franchise building blocks to drive growth.
- Manage a team of 3 and oversee development for all global innovation programs with all cross functional teams including R&D, Creative, Merchandising, NPD, Finance, Legal and Operations to ensure timetable/milestone adherence and best-in-class innovation
- Collaborate on the development of campaigns and consumer facing collaterals in partnership with Global SVP, Creative, Copy and Merch teams
- Partner with Fragrance houses to develop new scents across Fragrance and Bath & Body portfolio. Be the voice of philosophy olfactive territories and guide development.
- Inspire the team to innovative new ideas in terms of products, sampling and collateral ideas, drive to elevate brand performance to the next level including new, different, creative approaches
- Lead global aspect of new projects for the team as needed to address issues/new business opportunities (COG savings, global pricing, sales opportunities, reformulations, repacks, sku analysis)
- Analyze competitive data (NPD Rankings, product mix, retail pricing, top selling promotions) to utilize as tool in seasonal planning as well as to drive future growth of brand
- In conjunction with SVP, drive creation of all internal presentations (i.e. International Marketing Meeting, Strategic Plan)
- Partner with NPD to ensure that all programs and initiatives developed meet the required timelines
- Act as Global liaison with Affiliates on program updates, changes, requests. Create and deliver presentations to affiliate markets
- Supervise and develop subordinates by creating development plans and mentoring employees
THE ROLE
