Senior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain Finance

Job description

Position Summary: This role is an integral part of the Regional Supply Chain Finance team providing financial support and extensive analytics related to manufacturing variances. FP&A support for Melville Plant to cover the annual budget cycle, monthly estimate, and several ad hoc analyses throughout the year and other special projects.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Support Estimate and Plan review and reporting. Includes analysis and reporting of Melville Plant P&L related to Labor and Overhead, Variances, Risks & Opportunities, and supplemental data. Create and maintain complex Excel workbooks and reports.

- Participate in the transition to the new planning and reporting system in Fiscal 22, including rebuilding existing reports and leveraging new capabilities to improve processes.

- Report and analyze monthly results for Melville plant drawing data from various sources, asking questions to plant Supply Chain leads and summarizing insights.

- Create Region business review decks to support Senior Management/MPR reviews.

- Prepare the Plant Scorecard, tracking exceptions and reviewing the internal dashboards to ensure a consistent view of performance.

- Develop recommendations and supporting improvement initiatives for plants.

- Coordinate OneSource team support of Regional FP&A processes, including timing of deliverables and ensuring adequate review.

- Review of Capital expenditures for ROI as well as post implementation reviews to ensure ROI benefits

- Participate in ad hoc projects to support Corporate FP&A.

Qualifications

- CMA or Six Sigma Lean Blackbelt (preferred).

- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering (preferred).

- Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze financial data and apply such to business requirements/goals.

- SAP and Corporate Performance Management experience (required).

- At least 3 years of professional experience

- Leadership qualities in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment.

- Ability to work within a diverse team of international staff as well as to interact effectively with management and external parties.

- Strong verbal and writing communication skills - must be able to express ideas effectively in individual and group situations.

- Able to interact and communicate effectively with Senior Management.

- Strong interpersonal skills including: 1) individual leadership/influencing - inspiring and guiding others toward goal achievement and 2) teamwork/collaboration - working effectively with teams and work groups

- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SAP, Power BI
