We measure our success by the quality of our team. **THE ROLE** We're looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the VIOLET GREY team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Director, you will manage all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reporting, which involves consolidations. You will contribute significantly to Financial Planning & Analysis processes, including budgeting, reporting, forecasting and analysis. Additionally, you will liaise with all members of the Leadership Team and manage two external accounting resources.


- Own annual budget and quarterly forecast models; drive contents, communicate impact and identify points of focus for Senior Management - Guide and direct two external offshore resources in processing daily AP, AR, and GL transactions - Manage month-end close process and compile results for corporate consolidation - Oversee the complete, accurate, and timely preparation of monthly financial packages - Analyze overall financial performance, draft monthly narrative and communicate results to Senior Management - Manage cash-flow, including weekly, monthly, and long-range cash projections - Partner with corporate teams to ensure timely completion of compliance filings such as insurance, licensing, taxes, etc. - Continually evaluate internal processes, creatively solve problems, drive on-going enhancements and improvements, and implement best practices to achieve business goals - Represent team Finance across all new projects and commercial initiatives, providing robust financial analysis and modelling, identifying opportunities and exploiting trends


- You have 4+ years of working experience in a finance role, with strong focus on accounting principles, reporting, and analysis. - You have ERP and high-level Excel knowledge - You can operate in ambiguous and changing situations to deliver on the right results. - You are not afraid of complex business models or being accountable for helping C-level stakeholders deliver financial strategies and objectives. - You are a proven team player with the ability to interact with those outside of the Finance teams to deliver preferred outcomes - You are goal oriented, with a positive attitude and strong sense of accountability - You have a strong focus on professional development and a leadership mindset - Planning and Ecommerce/Retail/Marketplace experience a plus


- The pay range for this position at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $85,000 and $100,000 a year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. - If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
