WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a Sr. Benefits Operations Manager for our Americas Benefits Operations team. Candidates should have extensive experience with all facets of Benefits Operations for health, savings and voluntary programs in the US and Latin America for highly-complex organizations. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a well-balanced combination of leadership, operations strategy and intuition, analytical skill, resourcefulness and communications skills. While there is no finish line, you are constantly aiming to deliver extraordinary benefits operations and experiences for the team, our partners, and for our NIKE teammates!
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will be a key member of the Total Rewards Operations team and every single day you show up to sweat program delivery and the employee experience. In this role, you provide direct leadership to a team of Benefits Operations Consultants and Analysts that deliver benefits programs to NIKE, Inc. employees in the United States, Canada and Mexico. This role will provide consultation to the Benefits COE on program design delivery. You will develop the annual plan for rollout of critical initiatives and provide team oversite for implementations. Also, you will provide consultation for management of our strategic vendor partnerships. Using data (KPIs, surveys, themes), you'll be asked to proactively identify and react to key opportunities in the business and support solutions while providing insights to our partners on how programs, policies, and processes are landing with employees.
This role will structure and develop your team and processes to enhance performance and employee engagement. You will drive a talent agenda that encourages, challenges and develops all members of the team. When things don't go exactly as planned, you have the ability to be on point to get them back on track.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This role sits on the Americas Benefits Operations team within the broader Total Rewards Operations organization. As a trusted thought partner and advisor, you will partner closely with the Americas Benefits Operations leadership team to the Global Benefits Design COE. This individual will lead the Benefits Operations team to collaborate with teammates on our HR System, Operations and Analytics team, Nike Technology teams and vendor partners to develop and deliver best-in-class benefits programs and experiences for Nike employees.

Profile

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of demonstrable experience, education and training
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in Benefits Operations including 5 years of experience leading direct and indirect reports
- Deep understanding of key concepts of benefits program design and operational impacts
- Deep understanding of benefit plan regulations across broad program spectrum for US employers, program operations, vendor contracting and management, and benefit program compliance and taxation
- Working knowledge of benefit program implementations and large system implementations, benefits funding and general knowledge of benefits accounting
- Ease working with both technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to communication sophisticated benefit information in a clear and concise manner
- Desire to continuously adapt to, learn from and lead teams through change
- Experience working in a matrix environment
Preferred experience:
- Workday system experience with the Benefits tenent
- Non U.S. benefit plan operations experience
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly with varied and multiple cultures, countries, regulatory, and market environments
