Job description

The Nordstrom Rack marketing team is looking for an experienced marketer to lead the brand engagement, focused on:
- Defining key messaging opportunities to drive measurable improvements in brand perception throughout the customer journey in both US and Canadian markets
- Working with cross-functional teams to execute brand campaigns throughout the year
- Support Rack customer growth and driving traffic through localized marketing efforts and new store openingsKey Responsibilities:
- Support the brand engagement team, driving large scale brand campaigns, messaging strategy and prioritization, and storytelling across channels
- Work closely with our internal media team and agency partners to define the right channels and tactics to deliver on brand campaign metrics and business goals
- Work closely with creative team and agency partners to provide guidance on business and messaging priorities throughout creative execution process
- Support team on localized marketing needs, driving specialized needs to increase store traffic and revenue growth in top stores/markets
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute on JWN-wide initiatives for Nordstrom Rack (e.g., loyalty, diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives, corporate social responsibility)
- Supporting team to work cross-functionally with media, creative, store ops, and event teams to drive awareness of new Rack store openings and other local store marketing support


- 8+ years of marketing experience, with expertise in brand marketing
- Experience in managing teams required, along with a passion to grow and mentor early to mid-career professionals on the team
- Marketing experience in the retail industry or retail experience preferred (in-house or agency)
- Experience working with creative and media teams and/or agencies to
- Ability to build strong relationship with peers and senior leadership, and work in a matrixed environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling presentations to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, communications or marketing preferred
