Job description


The HR Program Delivery team leads a variety of strategic, cross-functional initiatives within HR. The Sr. Manager, HR Program Delivery will manage programs and teams to enable the implementation and sustainability of HR initiatives and cross-functional HR programs.

Reporting to the Director, Program Delivery, the individual in this role will be responsible for program management for a variety of strategic HR programs including technology, process, and organizational change. Additionally, the Sr. Manager, HR Program Delivery will contribute thought leadership and drive consistency and adoption of a HR Center of Excellence to support the development of individual team members and the overall functional capability of HR.

The Sr. Manager, HR Program Delivery will coordinate with program and functional leadership to ensure that project plans and delivery activities support program objectives. This individual will evaluate business and stakeholder needs and implement program plans including:

- Planning program activities, dependencies, risk, stakeholders, governance, and measurement.

- Leading execution of program activities and deliverables to achieve program goals within timeline and budget.

- Coordinating the efforts of vendors, internal team members, and impacted stakeholders.

- Identifying, escalating, and resolving issues critical to project success

The HR Program Delivery Team operates as a comprehensive program and change management office and as such the Sr. Manager may also assume change management responsibilities for initiatives in addition to program management.

The Sr. Manager, Program Delivery will be expected to have excellent written and verbal communication with a strong ability to develop and drive presentations. The Sr. Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to gain stakeholder alignment across HR and different cross-functional partners.

The Sr. Manager, Program Delivery will manage direct reports, as well as third party vendors, in building HR Program Delivery capabilities and delivering strategic HR initiatives


- Manage execution of PMO delivery activities and deliverables, such as: project plans, issue and action trackers, program dashboards, communication plans, training plans. Serve as an escalation point to resolve issues critical to program success

- Manage, mentor, and lead internal and external HR Program Delivery staff as defined in project or team structure.

- Responsible for continuous collaboration and communication with internal and external business partners (E.g., Executive Leadership, Communications, Learning & Organizational Design, Store Operations, Information Technology, Consultants); Ability to influence without authority

- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent work experience preferred

- 5-7 years management consulting or project management experience

- Exceptional verbal, written, executive presentation and communication skills.

- Experience leading and managing a team and external vendors.

- Ability to think strategically, with a demonstrated track record of developing and implementing end-to-end programs aligned to the advancement of company strategy.

- Outstanding work ethic with a high level of trust and integrity; displays a sense of urgency to resolve issues efficiently and to deliver high quality work

- Demonstrated ability to cope with pressure, changing priorities, and a fast-paced and ambiguous environment

- Demonstrated ability to drive results with a customer focus in mind.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning all projects

- Expertise in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint)

- Up to 20% travel may be required


Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.

Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.

Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.

Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.

This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
