Le Labo is a niche perfume company, born in Grasse and raised in New York City. We sparked a revolution over ten years ago and we remain unconventional in the luxury perfume market today. Every fragrance is freshly hand-blended and each label is personalized on-site, at the moment of purchase. Our distribution is intentionally selective with ~70 lab-boutiques worldwide and limited counters within a curated selection of retail partners. Our global office is based in Williamsburg, New York. JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a Senior Manager of International Business Development who will help support the global business and accelerated expansion of the brand. In this role, the Senior Manager will assist in strengthening the implementation of the brand's unique model, while supporting the development of the international strategy of the Brand. This position requires analytical and business focus and expertise. The position is based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, reporting to the International Business Development Executive Director. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Analysis & Development Main point of contact globally for business intelligence and analytics (incl. any data requests from regions) Work with regional teams to ensure that relevant data is being communicated, and providing support to monthly retail reporting Lead data analysis and develop reports/recommendations, working closely with online to create 360 degree overview (incl. identifying opportunity areas, post mortum analysis of key launches/brand initiatives, product analysis of individual markets, etc.) Identify areas for improvement in reporting, proactively implement changes. Help create efficiencies, improved processes and new reporting templates to enable critical analysis and strategy planning of the business. Distribution Strategy Lead further development of distribution analysis (incl. productivity potential, existing market expansion potential, top distribution ranking, KPI benchmarks etc.) Establish distribution guidelines for existing and new distribution channels of the Brand (incl. productivity drivers, criteria for viable POS/cities etc.) Conduct post mortum analysis of new retail concepts (e.g. Pop up, Le Labo On Wheels) Stay up to date on relevant brands across markets as competitive benchmarks, refine competitive distribution mapping for key markets. Provide actionable insights. Global Strategy Alongside ED, lead initiatives/deliverables, including budget process, LRP business reviews, senior management presentations, local market visit reports, and others as needed Communicate and leverage in-depth competitive research to recommend and drive strategic vision for regional execution. Business Support Work alongside Senior Brand and Regional Leaders to support markets and affiliates and provide intentional leadership support in making key decision that impact key business results. Provide support in overseeing key activities of select markets and channels Develops Global Guidelines & Best Practices Coach, mentor, and guide International Assistant Manager on key projects and opportunities that support the International business.

Profile

College degree required Approximate 7+ years of related experience with ideally familiarity with retail Highly developed Excel skills (incl. advanced Excel functions) and PowerPoint skills, with an eye for formatting and presenting information in a digestible way Understanding of financial and sales analytical processes, functions and needs Strong proven ability to analyze and synthesize quantitative data, explain analysis and making recommendations Superior communication and inter-personal skills to work with and meet the needs of several departments Must be comfortable and adaptable to entrepreneurial environment as well as structured, corporate atmosphere Be a motivated self-starter, with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with a team-player mindset Highly organized and able to manage multiple complex projects in fast-paced environment Highly organized and able to manage multiple complex projects in fast-paced environment Impeccable attention to detail Entrepreneurial, "roll up your sleeves" attitude, with 24/7 approach to responsibilities Exude passion for Le Labo and deeply appreciate and understand the Brand DNA
