Job Summary:



  • Lead and develop a high performing component material supply team in maintaining material inventory to achieve service and production execution targets.

    • Drive and own the escalation process for material issues.
    • Work in coordination with suppliers and internal procurement to implement service level agreements, material supply strategies and forecast accuracy.
    • Lead the development of existing process improvements, development of new processes and overall analysis of departmental efficiencies to assure all supply chain operational goals are met.
    • Drive ownership and accountability for planning of components through purchase order management, planning process, vendor communication, and overall support of internal production plan.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to maximize performance through efficiencies, employee development and accountability.
    • Ad hoc duties as assigned.
    Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders:

    • Finished good planners for production timing
    • Quality team for NCP resolution and guidance
    • Transportation for coordination of shipments
    • NPD for new launches and development of products, new or existing
    • NPC for all new launch project timelines
    • Procurement on material costing, MOQs, supplier strategies
    • Component material suppliers
    Financial Accountability

    • Ensure materials purchase orders are in line with MOQ's to ensure cost effective purchasing
    • Approve and adhere to purchase order approval process.


    • Minimum of 5 years planning experience in Consumer goods, preferably in the Cosmetics industry.
    • Skilled in SAP software supporting planning activities and other Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
    • Strong ability to focus and manage multiple competing priorities
    • Communicates effectively across all functions and levels.
