Job Summary:
- Lead and develop a high performing component material supply team in maintaining material inventory to achieve service and production execution targets.
- Drive and own the escalation process for material issues.
- Work in coordination with suppliers and internal procurement to implement service level agreements, material supply strategies and forecast accuracy.
- Lead the development of existing process improvements, development of new processes and overall analysis of departmental efficiencies to assure all supply chain operational goals are met.
- Drive ownership and accountability for planning of components through purchase order management, planning process, vendor communication, and overall support of internal production plan.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to maximize performance through efficiencies, employee development and accountability.
- Ad hoc duties as assigned.
- Finished good planners for production timing
- Quality team for NCP resolution and guidance
- Transportation for coordination of shipments
- NPD for new launches and development of products, new or existing
- NPC for all new launch project timelines
- Procurement on material costing, MOQs, supplier strategies
- Component material suppliers
- Ensure materials purchase orders are in line with MOQ's to ensure cost effective purchasing
- Approve and adhere to purchase order approval process.
- Minimum of 5 years planning experience in Consumer goods, preferably in the Cosmetics industry.
- Skilled in SAP software supporting planning activities and other Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong ability to focus and manage multiple competing priorities
- Communicates effectively across all functions and levels.
