Job description

The adidas partnership marketing team contributes significantly to the eCommerce strategic business plan. The Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing is fully accountable for this channel and the achievement of its goals both commercial and brand. This position will lead and steer the planning, implementation and sales for the partnership marketing channel working closely and collaboratively with our sales, merchandising, and business unit teams. Success will be measured by ability to strategically identify opportunities, work through business challenges in an effective and collaborative way and deliver on all KPIs. The specific areas of scope includes onboarding and existing management to drive ROI: branded partnerships, schools and gift cards.


People Management & Collaboration
- Manage, direct, and lead the entire account onboarding, go-live and in-season business
- Hire and train employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance
- Partner with DtC merchandising on financial and unit planning to drive common goal setting and ownership to support Partner Program and total eCommerce sales targets
- Develop and execute the program's strategy and roadmap
- Drive business planning timelines and processes and ensure adherence by all concerned parties to defined timelines and process landscape
Business Development
- Develop business planning strategies and financial forecasts in coordination with internal ecommerce stakeholders
- Collaborate with eCommerce analytics and financial controlling to drive business planning and process improvements for current and future seasons
- Steer and monitor the P&L to ensure fiscal accountability and achievement of KPIs
Maintain current knowledge of industry and eCommerce key trends to identify opportunities to elevate the DtC business
- Strong analytical skills for consistent reporting; share findings with leadership.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Must be entrepreneurial with an innovative spirit, experienced and comfortable with change management, and willing to take calculated risks
- Understanding of the US retail market landscape preferred
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Expertise to navigate and influence relationships both internally and externally at all levels of the organization with proven experience working in cross-functional teams
- Ability to apply concepts in sales strategy, merchandising, eCommerce and brand management
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills; ability to manage complex projects
- Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on potentially controversial and complex topics to top management
- Ability to direct self and team while working under tight deadlines
