Job description

  • Be the Global Communication Lead for the Run & Training Business Unit
  • Develop and execute seasonal communication strategies
  • Be responsible for PR BU storytelling and the creation of media toolkits including press releases and media presentations
  • Maintain quality and consistency across all BU communication channels
  • Engage with and proactively pitch strategic media (digital, social, print) within consumer, lifestyle, culture, sneaker, fashion, and business media segmentations
  • Work closely with PUMA spokespeople, PUMA athletes and Sports Marketing and initiate cross-channel media opportunities
  • Work closely with the global, regional and local PR and marketing teams to align on marketing plans and communication strategies
  • Own the global communication calendar for all BU relevant topics
  • Act as a PUMA representative at global press events and activations
  • Align with all cross functional stakeholders on global communication messaging and seasonal priorities
  • Create monthly clipping reports and own BU Media Monitoring
  • Own seeding to key media and influencers


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is a plus (but not essential)
  • Minimum 8-10+ years professional experience in communications roles requiring exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Proven experience developing proactive, compelling, and creative communications plans and materials
  • Knowledge of global print, digital and broadcast media with a deep understanding of the evolving digital media and content creators landscapes
  • Strong base of media contacts and relationships with top-tier consumer, fashion and lifestyle media with a proven record of delivering high-impact results
  • Passion for sport and fashion. Experience within the running and training area is a plus
  • Should have an international/global mindset
  • Must be highly collaborative and have the ability to work within a cross-functional team, matrixed global organization
  • Position is based in Somerville, Massachusetts
