WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As an Engineering Manager for Finished Goods Supply Planning team, you will be part of a highly visible, Engineering team passionate about aligning strategic objectives with tactical demands. We need an experienced leader of people who thrives on solving sophisticated business challenges through technology, collaboration, analysis, and creativity.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Lead a development team delivering end-to-end technology solutions in support of the Supply Planning capabilities
- Ensures team is using Nike's Global Technology delivery methodology to develop Supply Planning capabilities
- Stays ahead of industry trends and leads development of key innovation platforms
- Develops and administers team metrics
- Accountable for growing & developing Engineering team by attracting top industry talent
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
- Works closely with Planning & Manufacturing leadership to develop Finished Goods Supply Planning Engineering vision, strategy and execution plans that are aligned with business outcomes
- Partners with Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Enterprise Capability (SEC) to develop a sustainable roadmap for Supply Planning Engineering capability
- Partners with Technical Product Management and Business Product Management to ensure outcomes are aligned with Business expectations
- Partners with Engineering Directors and other Engineering Managers to build an effective team and partnership with key partners

Profile

WHAT YOU BRING
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years hands on experience in Application configuration/development, testing with a focus on Supply Planning solutions
- 4+ years of professional experience in Enterprise Planning Technology Solutions including end-to-end Business Blueprinting, development, testing, support, and post implementation tech solution refinement
- 6+ years' working as an Application Engineer in a complex matrix organization within a global IT environment having diverse and sophisticated landscape
- 2+ years' mentoring, coaching, and supporting 2 or more developers concurrently (preferred)
- Excellent understanding of business processes in Enterprise Planning - specifically in Supply Planning
- Hands on development and configuration in supporting product needs. Experience in any of the COTS Planning solutions like APO, o9, BlueYonder, etc., is preferred
- Team mentoring, Team co-ordination, Team Guidance, manage the Functional work, Client Interaction, help team to complete the developments and meet team goals
- Should have experience in cloud technologies
- Experience in working with 3 party integration tools like NiFi, Kafka, etc.
- Strong data profiling and analysis experience using SQL
- Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively connect with both business and technical teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented and highly matrixed organization environment
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Must excel working in roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others
- Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
- Demonstration of strong influencing skills
