THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

The Senior Manager leads enterprise integration team working on multiple projects simultaneously in a highly dynamic, fast paced and rewarding environment. They collaborate with business stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of business needs and strategy, identify priorities, define scope and recommend system solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. This role is responsible for managing a team of leads, engineers, and architects that are primarily responsible development and support of enterprise data integration solutions including batch, real-time and APIs.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH ALL THIS BY:


  • Systems Development Management: Develops policy and standards for solution development projects. Evaluates, proposes, devises and initiates solutions within the organization. Takes action to explore opportunities that will have a measurable effect on process effectiveness, with associated benefits to the business. Manages and identifies the resources necessary for all phases of solution development, ensuring that scope, schedule, financial and quality targets are met.
  • Relationship Management: Develops long-term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders. Is a single point of contact and facilitates access to colleagues and subject matter experts. Maintains a strong understanding of industry and business, assisting clients in the formation of IT strategies, and acts to ensure that they are offered solutions and services aligned to these strategies. Negotiates at senior level on technical and commercial issues.
  • Quality Management: Leads the application of appropriate quality management techniques to identify areas for improvement. Coordinates systematic corrective action to reduce errors and improve the quality of the systems and services, by examination of the root causes of problems.
  • Resourcing: Develops plans to ensure that the organization has appropriately skilled resources to meet organizational objectives and commitments. Manages the effective implementation of resource planning, recruitment, selection, assessment, on-boarding and transitioning of resources.
  • Performance Management: Manages individuals and teams by allocating responsibilities and/or packages of work. Provides coaching and support and delegates responsibilities where possible, in order to achieve corporate objectives. Ensures performance objectives, and monitors progress against agreed quality and performance criteria.
  • Business Process Improvement: Analyzes business processes by evaluating alternative solutions, assessing feasibility, and recommending new approaches, typically seeking to exploit technology components. Develops business requirements for the implementation of significant changes in organizational mission, business functions and process, organizational roles and responsibilities, and scope or nature of service delivery.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads creation of Enterprise Integration Strategy, Roadmap and execution.
  • Evangelizes/champions the Integration vision and best practices.
  • Defines and operationalizes the Integration COE to establish best practices and provide governance of integrations.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal organization standards as a step towards sustained quality of service.
  • Manage day to day operational needs of Integration systems and plan for environment upgrades and scalability needs based on the demand
ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or equivalent professional experience
  • 9+ years of IT management experience in developing and managing enterprise integration solutions both on-prem and cloud.
  • 5 years' experience managing technology teams
  • Experience in people management, setting up goals and performance management
  • Strong experience in Integration platforms like TIBCO, SAP BODS, MuleSoft, Talend, Kafka and other integration technologies
  • Experience in creating enterprise strategy in building API Management platforms
  • Deep understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, Micro-Services, Message/Event based architectures
  • Experience in GCP cloud technologies including Pub/Sub, Cloud Dataflow, Composer, BigQuery preferred but Azure and AWS experience also be considered.
  • Experience in vendor management including SI partners and software vendors.
  • Strong partnering/relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication skills; feels comfortable working with non-technical business partners
  • Effective leader of cross functional teams; able to motivate others to drive desired results
  • Work with production support and project consultants in an onshore / offshore model
  • Flexibility of providing support during odd hours, weekends, and peak seasons
  • Minimal travel required (training/conferences)
