The Sr. Learning & development Program Manager is responsible for assessing and identifying company-wide developmental needs, primarily at the supervisory/manager level, and leading the effective development, coordination and presentation of training and development programs for our team members. This person will actively search, creatively design and implement effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance. Additionally, they will be responsible for consistency in process development and identifying metrics for which we can measure the efficacy of training programs.

Job description

The Sr. Learning & development Program Manager is responsible for assessing and identifying company-wide developmental needs, primarily at the supervisory/manager level, and leading the effective development, coordination and presentation of training and development programs for our team members. This person will actively search, creatively design and implement effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance. Additionally, they will be responsible for consistency in process development and identifying metrics for which we can measure the efficacy of training programs.
- Partner with Store Ops to build and support customer centric focused training to drive the transformation of sales teams, bringing to life the sales model in all customer interactions. associates
- Design, implement and managed multiple training and development programs, working closely with senior stakeholders across the organization to assess training needs.
- Identify company-wide developmental needs, primarily at the supervisory/manager level and ensure these are consistent with our purpose & values, leadership competencies, and position goals.
- Develop effective training programs/materials utilizing a variety of media including social, virtual platforms, blended learning, and LMS platform. Modify these programs as needed.
- Lead the L&D team on the delivery and design of Greenhouse for the ILT and VILT versions. This includes training peers in the new platforms and formats.
- Compiles statistics, evaluates quality data, forms conclusions, and presents recommendations to management in the various areas needing training services.
- Conduct evaluations and analyze metrics for programs; provide reports and recommendations on project metrics.
- Research and make recommendations for content management of our Learning Management System (LMS) specific to the business partners assigned.
- Mentor and manage training for new leaders.
- Ensure that compliance and statutory training requirements are met and maintained.
- Develop and monitor train the trainer programs and coach others involved in training efforts.
- Will assist other HR professionals with training needs specific to their specialty area, as needed.
- Develop team project timelines, processes, and program structures.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Profile

- Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, business, or related field preferred.
- Relevant and progressive experience in training and/or Human Resources; within the sales industry preferred.
- Proven ability to foster mentoring relationships and to execute and drive continuous results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; Strong integrity and personal drive.
- Excellent ability to prioritize many tasks and handle high workloads as necessary.
- Flexible scheduling and travel as needed; some evenings and weekends may be required.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions quickly and effectively; self-motivated.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web-browsers
- Must have experience with a variety of delivery and content development platforms. Preferred platforms are Storyline, Rise, Adobe Connect, and use of standard virtual collaboration platforms like WebEx.
