The Sr. Manager, Hennessy Prestige City Lead is a key contributor to the development and implementation of an innovative, consumer-centric brand development strategy and supports the execution of all programming and activations for the Hennessy Prestige portfolio.

Business Strategy:

  • Spearhead the development of Hennessy's Prestige business in the market
  • Work in partnership with local commercial and U.S. brand team to identify and curate flagship accounts with special focus on the development and articulation of luxury programming
  • Cultivate new business opportunities including partnerships with like-minded luxury sectors real-estate, LVMH sister brands etc.
  • Track business performance & provide monthly reporting to MH partners on key wins, challenges & competitor intel
  • Manage brand's A&P deployment strategy, ensure that the budget is consistently prioritized & tracked against brand objectives.
Brand Champion:

  • Drive brand expertise in the marketplace including execution of weekly training of key sales partners ex: distributor, account staff as well as gatekeeper engagement
  • Maintain a high level of detail, focused on driving excellence for Hennessy service, presentation and visibility in the market

    Serve as face of the brand, hosting dinners, tastings and events for consumers & KOLs - as well as to trade customers
Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships, internally and externally, across the brand and teams.
  • Manage relationships with Brand & the Commercial team as well as transversal teams in Finance, Legal, HR, and IT to build and maintain commitments that enable the delivery of brand priorities and objectives.
  • Maintain successful relationships with agency business partners and other third-party stakeholders to continually ensure their commitment to delivering brand objectives.
  • Maintain a flexible and adaptable mindset by continually evaluating, revising and responding with agility to meet rapidly evolving business needs, and perform other functions and duties as assigned. Strong attention to detail is also critical.
Education

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Marketing degree preferred

Professional Experience

8+ years of brand marketing experience, preferably in the luxury consumer goods or U.S. wines and spirits industries.

  • Strong command of luxury trends

  • Strong interpersonal skills - passionate & enthusiastic
  • Proven track record of high-quality activation / hospitality
  • Strong business acumen, can identify & develop new sales opportunities & strategic brand partnerships
  • High level of execution - with strong attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency - particular skills with PowerPoint and Excel
  • Understanding of brand strategy development in a commercial context
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional partners, including senior leaders
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills to support data-driven decision making
  • Understanding of the U.S. three-tier distribution system, a plus
