Job description

Primarily responsible for the development and execution of the 360 go to market strategy for the assigned categories, partnering closely with PR, Influencer Marketing, Creative, Sales Operations and Omni Commercial teams. Owns the marketing calendar and category management by assessing competitive landscape, liaising with Global and planning the execution of key consumer engagement initiatives Forecasts and tracks business performance for the assigned categories, measures success of campaigns. Understand consumer trends (identify gaps commercially based on consumer needs) to drive recommendations to influence product innovation. Contribute to the new product concepts based on market trends, competitive activity, brand white space and specific retailer opportunities Create materials for internal an external meetings with stakeholders to present marketing programs/plans (i.e., market meetings) LAUNCH / CATEGORY MANAGMENT Go to market strategy: Owns seasonal marketing calendar, including product, big bet activation, visual merchandising overview and promotion. Host meetings with Account & Sales Planning to manage launches and SKU assortment (e.g. discos and phase outs) Able to conceptualize and execute a full 360 marketing program for products and work with Global and Trade Marketers to develop tailored campaigns and marketing events; Manage budget and track business performance against KPIs Develop briefs for in-house creative, external agencies and cross-functional partners (i.e., Account leads/trade marketing) In collaboration with Trade Marketing, plan, develop and execute needs for In-Store/ Special Events and Special Projects, such as retailer/consumer sampling programs and all consumer facing events. Leads weekly Marketing/Trade/Online status to align cross-functionally on priorities Category / Business Management: Ability to identify new trends and feed those back to Global to influence product development (own the NPL meeting). Develop business strategy for the assigned categories and develop a strong point of view on channel distribution to drive market share gains. Leverage consumer insights to inform strategy and decisions. Ensure all decisions on launch consensus are communicated to internal stakeholders and to the field Conducts quarterly competitive review and provides defense strategy - measures key elements of execution and success factors. Own NPD category analyses. Responsible for conducting the MFP process, in close partnership with planning.

Profile

6-8 years related Marketing experience with beauty industry experience (cosmetics or skincare category experience a plus). Bachelor's degree is required. Thorough knowledge of market/consumer trends. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to lead cross functionally and build relationships. Strategic thinking with demonstrated busines acumen and ability to develop recommendations based on data. Ability to influence others, gaining support and buy-in towards a desired outcome. Excellent team player with the ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external partners Highly organized, detail-oriented and results-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Strong project management skills-candidate must be comfortable taking on new challenges, and roles to support a lean and growing team.
