Senior Manager, Men's Outlet Bags Global Merchandising
Primary Purpose:
The Senior Manager, Men's Outlet Bags Global Merchandising will be a key team member of the Outlet Coach Global Merchandising team, supporting the continued growth of Coach's Leather Goods business. The position will report to the Sr. Director of Men's Leather Goods & Specialty Accessories, Global Merchandising.

- Product Strategy
- Lead and communicate merchandising strategy for the Bags category within the Outlet channel. Leverage product opportunities and business initiatives across both domestic and international markets
- Create relevant product assortments to drive the business
- Partner with Design and Product Development throughout the entire conceptual and commercialization process to build an assortment that addresses both brand and customer needs
- Partner with Business Unit teams to understand, influence, and drive business objectives/customer needs, and identify product opportunities.
- Assortment Planning
- Drive assortment style and delivery flow needs
- Communicate changes and impacts cross-functionally in an effective manner
- Ensure that corporate deadlines are met to deliver product on a timely basis
- Partner with Global Planning teams to provide guidelines for both permanent and seasonal assortments
- Market Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze sales on a weekly basis to gain comprehensive understanding of the state of the business. Provide global analysis that drives consensus
- Identify product opportunities through regular hind-sighting that incorporates consumer research, business unit feedback, and sales performance analysis
- Maintain updated knowledge of key competitor product, distribution, and pricing strategies
- Manage retail price setting, target costs, and margin goals. Partner with Product Development team on costing objectives
- Organization & Team
- Create and foster a strong culture of learning and development for direct reports and team
- Establish relationships with Design, Product Development, Global Merchandising Planning, Visual Merchandising, and Marketing
- Create partnerships with key Global Merchandising peers and Business Unit buyers

- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 5+ years merchandising/buying experience in related business or brand with demonstrated product development experience, preferably in a vertical retail environment
- Minimum 2 years people management experience
