Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Senior Manager Omni Inventory Operations for our Omni Inventory Management team at our North American headquarters in Portland, OR. This person could also be located in New York City or Spartanburg, SC.
The Senior Manager Omni Inventory Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic and tactical initiatives to optimize Inventory Management and improve business profitability/cashflow in a sustainable manner. Supporting forecasting for excess sales & overall OMNI excess inventory across Region North America. Developing reporting and analytics that help support all OMNI Inventory functions (Operations, Planning, Excess Management & Excess Sales). Act as the liaison between OMNI Inventory Management & Supply Chain, ensuring teams work together to solve with an OMNI approach that meets our desire to act with speed while meeting profitability goals. Build proper process & strategies to review new and or challenging operational/financial opportunities for the market.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILTIES
- Manage employees and build an environment that drives accountability and fosters growth.
- Steer the USWS CLR & Plant forecasting in close coordination with the Director OMNI Inventory Operations & Planning to match the overall channel strategy.
- Optimize existing planning process and strive for efficiency
- Responsible for leading/supporting and updating Sr. Management on forecast accuracy, changes, risks and opportunities.
- Lead/create analysis, tools, macros to support all pillars of the OMNI Inventory Management Team
- Support defining & qualifying excess KPI success, support EOY inventory goals by providing financial models to support OMNI decision making.
- Responsible for providing a clear message and understanding to Sr. Management around Total USWS, Clearance Account and Clearance Plant Shipping forecasts throughout the region. Ensuring that Sr. Management is provided top notch and highly accurate information and analysis for their business decisions.
- Support Sr. Manger Omni Inventory Planning with OBSO management for region North America.
- Oversee operational projects that intersect OMNI Inventory with cross-functional partners like Supply Chain, Order Fulfilment, Account Operations, Product Supply, Legal & Finance.
- Manage dedicated/direct cancellations and USWS RTV process.
- Manage donations and destruction for region North America.
- Implement inventory scrapping logic & efficiencies in our distribution pipeline.
- Influence supply chain warehouse optimization & profit review.
- Support/Execute quarterly shipping alignment with the warehouse, customer service, & sales finance directors.

Profile

- Financial planning or Retail planning experience
- Process development and management
- Understanding all financial metrics
- Supply Chain or Order Fulfilment experience
- Ability to manage complex situation and challenges
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Resourceful and self-starting, able to create a broad network within the company
- Cross-functional collaboration to achieve results, involving numerous different stakeholder groups with differing agendas
- Problem-solving ability to quickly identify and drive business according to changing internal or external market conditions
- Clear and concise communicator
- High level of business command and control supported by strong business acumen and retail math skills; ability to coach team to improve these skills
- Proven leader with the ability to develop a team and good steward of resources
