About the RoleGap Inc's Strategic Growth Office ("SGO") is at the forefront of driving our next chapter of growth. Gap Inc. established the SGO to focus on long-term growth and new growth opportunities across its purpose-led billion-dollar brands and beyond its core businesses. The SGO is charged with thinking beyond the company's day to day business in order to meet the consumer and industry demands of the future, bringing together key functions that unlock sustainable value creation. As the Sr. Manager of SGO Operations, you will be at the forefront of defining new business opportunities and operationalizing them across Gap Inc. You will work closely with teams across the enterprise as you execute the go to market strategy for the business to business platform. You will outline processes, systems and teams needed to build and drive the business. The Sr. Manager of SGO Operations will report to the Head of Go To Market Strategy and Governance.What You'll Do
- Define operating model with process, systems and team investments required
- Compile the business plan & economic model
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to execute analysis and align on path forward
- Work across teams to set up end to end process, define technology needs, and operationalize
- Lead cross functional teams needed to scale business ventures
- Deliver insights and package findings into executive-ready content
- Develop bottom-up financial forecasting models; socialize outputs, participate in internal financial processes incl. budgeting process. Provide executive-level status reports.
- Act as liaison between technical and business functions to ensure effective communications.
- Led operating process definition and ensure all processes are documented, stored and updated as necessary.
- Create long- and short-term project plans; set, communicate and track targets for milestones to a varied set of internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate effectively, aimed at keeping the project aligned with overall goals and timelines
- Lead and motivate teams to complete assigned tasks and meet milestones.
- Build the necessary relationships internal and external partners to help drive future growthWho You Are
- 8+ years of strategy, general management, entrepreneurial, and/or consulting experience. 2+ years of operationalizing new business or strategy. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- A true problem solver who can navigate ambiguity by using assumptions and data to validate ideas from strategic, brand, financial, and operational perspectives
- Demonstrated experience driving an initiative from strategy to ongoing governance
- Dynamic, self-starter comfortable with project-based work
- Understanding of process design and scaling
- Strong research and analytical capabilities
- Skilled at business planning and forecasting
- Familiarity with customer insights and research to define market opportunity
- Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, with the capability of engaging others at all levels of the organization
- Experience executing strategic initiatives and day-to-day priorities concurrently; able to navigate and close opportunities across a diverse set of requirements and move quickly from strategies to details
