The Gap Inc Product Management organization will do this through the relentless pursuit of great software experiences while considering operating advantage and positive community impact. The work impacts millions of customers worldwide that love our iconic brands of Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, and Athleta.

At Gap Inc, we collaborate in the full ideation and development of our capabilities from Supply Chain, Reporting, and Internal Operations, to our Website, Fulfillment, and Customer Experience. You will partner with business leaders and a global engineering team to build custom software that powers a $16 billion Fortune 500 Company. We're looking for the people who'll help make our next decade just as revolutionary as our first five.

In this role, you will focus on delivering fulfillment experience capabilities like personalized shipping promises, geo-location capabilities, omni capabilities like BOPIS and Curbside, and post purchase experiences including communications and customer care/contact center. As a Senior Product Manager, you will help define the product roadmap by working with your product management counterparts and leaders to identify and drive forward new capabilities. You will collaborate with dependent product teams to ensure that the end to end implementation journey is thorough and thoughtful.

The role requires a strong product mindset; combination of business savvy, customer centricity and technical knowledge. We are looking for experienced product managers that have an inquisitive nature and want to solve complex business and customer problems without boundaries.

This role is based out of the San Francisco office. Currently, job duties are being performed remotely. However, the Company may in the future require you/this role to be in the office on a full-time or part-time basis. Pursuant to Gap Inc.'s policy, all employees who wish to enter Gap Inc.'s San Francisco Bay Area, New York, and Albuquerque office buildings will need to be vaccinated, unless an exemption from the vaccine requirement is approved due to an accommodation for a disability or for a sincerely held religious belief.

What You'll Do
  • Define the Personalized Fulfillment product roadmap by working with your product management counterparts and leaders to identify and drive forward new capabilities.

  • Deliver key capabilities around shipping, geo-location, delivery promises, omni fulfillment, and post purchase experience

  • Write robust requirements, prioritize the backlog, and work closely with the engineering teams to deliver and test quality software

  • Develop and manage project plans and key stakeholder engagement strategy on all initiatives

  • Build relationships with key business partners and other brand stakeholders; articulates product needs clearly and succinctly to different audiences and cross functional partners

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of industry trends and standards to introduce the continual process, tool and methodology improvements

  • Identify, measure, and interpret results to validate product strategy; Provide research, analysis, and support for identifying, evaluating, and resolving strategic opportunities

  • Influence strategy for area/team

Profile

Who You Are
  • 3+ years' experience in leading product managers to deliver business capabilities

  • 5+ years' experience in product management, preferably in retail, digital domains, understanding fulfillment and logistics capabilities.

  • Experience in designing, developing and implementing platforms, APIs, and/or complex customer capabilities

  • Experience working with large software engineering teams both within and outside of your domain

  • Experience on projects with complex scope and with multi system integrations

  • Demonstrate technical acumen; ability to influence and debate solutions with technical team members, to understand technology solutions and potential tradeoffs and to represent technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders

  • Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions

  • Sound knowledge of concepts and procedures specific to own subject area and a basic understanding of the procedures in other relevant areas
