Supply Chain Analyst
Sanford, NC
The Supply Chain Analyst provides decision support by providing data and analysis that promote process optimization across the supply chain. This includes monitoring inventory sync, resolving variances, identifying transactional failures and recommending remedies. The Supply Chain Analyst develops system data and creates visualization tools that drive supply chain performance and supports leadership.




THE ROLE










Job description

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for monthly inventory metrics; monitoring, evaluating adjustment activities and inventory health for trend analysis.
  • Support management in collaboration, influencing and execution of cross-functional process improvement in Supply Chain
  • Capture data requirements for supply chain analytics solutions.
  • Engage with business owners and the team to identify integration needs for ongoing data acquisition.
  • Supports Management in obtaining data and ensuring processes are in compliance for Sox Controls.
  • Responsible for daily WM-SAP Reconciliation Reporting and Analysis to execute and resolve discrepancies while determining root cause and implementing prevention solutions.
  • Work with teammates to integrate data mining intelligence into solutions for core processes.
Knowledge:

  • Understanding of inventory transactions and integration processes between the warehouse management system and the ERP software system.
  • Strong Data Mining Experience. Ability to work with large datasets and create meaning insights. Ability to identify trends, shifts and extraordinary events. Knowledge of statisitcs and probablities prefered.
  • Capable of evaluating datasets, as well as understand and eliminate outliers. Abiltiy to cleanse and validate data using other sources.
  • Strong knowledge and experience developing process metrics and implementing data tracking tools to support process improvement.
  • Experience with SAP, BI are preferred (ERP required)
  • Supply Chain experience is required

Profile

QUALIFICATIONS
We'd love to see candidates who have:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, computer science, applied math or other quantitative disciplines.

  • Five+ years Analyst experience required, supervisory experience a plus

  • Additional supply chain and analytics education, training and/or certification through MOOCS and/or professional organizations preferred.

  • MBA with Equivalent Technical Experience a plus

  • A curious nature, and a deep desire to learn and to grow with technology.


Technical Skills:
  • Strong trouble-shooting and problem solving ability. The ability to break down complex problems and identify process failures.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of the business.

  • Ensure implementation of action plans linked to reliability, bringing expertise to collaborators.

  • Ability to extract and transform data from business systems and load to MS SQL data tables.

  • Capable of developing SQL queries and stored procedures in the creation of Power BI analysis tools and reports.

  • Ability to design or deploy supply chain-specific data lakes or leverage enterprise data lakes to support supply chain use cases.

  • A combination of data management and supply chain knowledge to work closely with IT to define supply chain data strategy, vision and governance and overall requirements to support supply chain digitalization.
