About the RoleThe SVP & General Manager drives strategy & business results for the Banana Republic Factory Stores channel through a proven track record of delivering results while shaping new, innovative ways of continuously driving growth & revenue.
They lead an OMNI multi-functional team, inclusive of all product functions and are responsible for driving results in this channel. With direct accountability and decision scope for the BRFS P&L, they are accountable for achieving positive business outcomes through results of product success, customer response, and financial performance. They utilize retail experience and strong business acumen to anticipate business needs, proactively implementing changes in fast paced environment.What You'll Do
- Leads an OMNI multi-functional team including Design, Production, Merchandising, Inventory Management, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Creative & Online.
- Sits on the Banana Republic Brand Leadership Team and builds complementary relationships within the BR Brand, including BR Specialty and BR Online.
- Proactively acquires and continuously grows a profitable customer base across the market / channel, delivering business results today while identifying new ways of continuously growing revenue
- Strategically influences and leverages organizational investments to strengthen business performance
- Can hire for and develop high-performance teams and is committed to a long-term career within the Gap Inc. Portfolio.
- Can demonstrate strong understanding of how digital applies to retail and the evolving customer landscape
- Ownership and accountability for the P&L for BR Factory Channel
- Leads Brand Vision, strategy, and execution of global on brand product sales, responsible for meeting revenue targets
- Leads, directs, & develops all key functions for BR Factory HQ; input into BRFS Stores
- Makes Business Development decisions in partnership with BR Specialty in priority markets and identifies potential market opportunities
- Maintains and understands the image and expectations of BR Factory with customers
- Ensures channel is recognized as a great place to work and environment is aligned with brand values
