Job description

Nike, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Manage team throughout the product creation process from initial concept to commercialization and production for assigned models in order to lead on time delivery and development according to critical dates, product specification, sustainability, performance, and profitability goals. Assist with implementation/integration of digital product creation within specific dimensions of the apparel business. Collaborate with design, brand and category management, merchandising, and manufacturing, to effectively, execute on product development goals and deliverables. Create and revise appropriate documentation for assigned products. Ensure all appropriate development documentation maintenance, including product specs and prototype notes. Track and facilitate sampling and prototyping for products. Identify and address key issues and challenges in construction/manufacturing and plan accordingly to deliver proven and tested product. Monitor and communicate progress and challenges throughout the product testing process to meet product integrity requirements. Keep abreast of market trends, category goals, new technology and consumer needs throughout the development process and engage appropriately to ensure completion of projects within corporate guidelines and goals for all facets of product creation. Up to 15% international travel required.


Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design, Apparel Merchandising, Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or Fashion Management and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Experience must include:
- 3D and 2D Apparel Digital Design Software, including CLO, Illustrator, InDesign, Keynote, Acrobat Pro, and Miro.
- Product assortment strategy.
- Project management, including defining project priorities and scheduling project deadlines.
- Product management or program management.
- Information gathering, information retrieval, statistical analysis, and qualitative analysis.
- Operations planning and market analysis.
- Line Planning, such as strategic visioning and budget ownership.
- Translation of Consumer, Sales, and Marketplace Insights into strategy.
