Technical Skills Experience and demonstrated success leading and delivering large, global transformation programs enabled by technology in supply chain and/or manufacturing space. Global implementation experience in core technologies such as SAP, ideally SAP S4, OMS Systems, , Advance Planning Systems, Warehouse Management Systems Expertise in application design and architecture, integration architecture development, enterprise application integration, and integration technologies solutions and standards. Demonstrates technical domain experience and expertise in a number of key areas: Distributed Order Management; Integrated Business Planning; New Product Launch; Supply Network Optimization, Industry 4.0 Proven track record driving outstanding insights and innovative game-changing opportunities through data science, AI and analytics. Hands-on experience and demonstrated success in leading digital solutions and familiarity with new technologies (IoT; Machine Learning; Robotics / Process Automation; Deep Learning Competent in new technology evaluation, ability to support technical change management and provide thought leadership skills in integration technologies, tools and services Ideally have demonstrated relationships with best in class software vendors including cloud and platform vendors Business Skills Solid understanding of supply chain processes End to End (Plan, Source, Make, Distribute, Quality) Experience in using data and data science to drive quantitative analysis and break-through outcomes. The primary role of the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Technology Lead is to shape the GSC function strategy through technology leadership and deliver technology solutions to achieve the business strategy and drive competitive advantage globally for Estee Lauder Companies. This position plays a critical role in both advising the GSC leadership as well as identifying, prioritizing and delivering projects that support ELC's long term growth opportunities. In addition, this position manages the global solutioning process across multiple process areas: Planning; Operations, Procurement, Distribution, Quality and New Product Launch. This role partners directly with the Supply Chain delivery leader to attain and retain top talent. This role will be a key technology advisor to the EVP of GSC and innovation and be part of GSC leadership team to drive business outcomes through technology. This is a true business partner role requiring a point of view and the ability to make proactive recommendations. This position will provide thought leadership, management and oversight of all application solutions (cloud first, however on premises where required) for ELC GSC and will be accountable for all GSC technology investments, as well as managing the portfolio of digital application solutions. This position is based in New York City and reports into the Chief Information Officer with a matrix relationship to the EVP, Global Supply Chain. Acts as the primary point of contact and technology business partner to Global Supply Chain Functional leadership and delivers value by shaping and informing the business strategy, defining capabilities required to achieve the strategy and bringing forth recommended technology solutions to enable these capabilities. Accountable for the Global Supply Chain Technology portfolio. This includes running regular portfolio planning and progress updates with the Supply Chain Operations team. Driving the development of business cases and representing the function in IT Alignment sessions. Ultimately accountable for Technology Investment funds (budget $120MM+). Leads a global team that is accountable for all technology solutioning for the Global Supply Chain Function and is accountable for innovative, strategic business solutions. These solutions are consistent with corporate strategic objectives and ensure that the function can support the needs of the growing business. Works collaboratively across the IT organization to ensure all technology services needs are identified in a timely way and communicated, planned and budgeted effectively. Must effectively communicate and collaborate with Brand and Region Technology teams. Builds teams (Pods) who oversee and manage IT governance and IT portfolio management for Global GSC IT. Ensure the realization of the business strategies through technology and continued process improvements. Align tightly with the BIA organization and collaborate to ensure excellent information flow and availability to enable the best data driven, consumer connected enterprise. Ensures the strategic agenda is serviced by strong data and analytic services including data science, analytic productionalizing and ongoing support. Coordinates with technology providers to evaluate new and innovative technologies and service offerings. Responsible for the teams who develop business requirements, coordinates with enterprise architects (enterprise, solution, information....) to ensure new services and solutions align with roadmaps. Works closely with the Global, Regional and local Strategic Business Partners to balance enterprise efficiencies with local Drives an Agile mindset and delivery culture throughout the business function, advocating speed and agility and act as a change agent within the function for Agile adoption.
