Job description

About the RoleThe Visual Operations role will primarily focus on furnishings, fixtures, propping, art, and display items for Gap Inc. corporate facilities and in support of global franchise projects. Facilities focus includes brand product/showroom areas, mock stores, mock show window areas, and support for product development storage and display needs; Facilities work will also include vendor sourcing and process development to support workplace furniture lifecycle: sourcing, ordering, placement, and maintenance. Franchise focus will include process development to support rapid Franchise growth; develop and on-board external architects to create fixture maps and orders for Franchise partners; assist and assess Franchise partner fixture manufacturing, cost, and quality. Additionally, this role will flex to support Gap Inc. retail store projects as needed.What You'll Do
- Support sourcing activity to identify and on-board new vendors for furniture, mock store, and product area needs
- Develop budget and schedule processes to manage facilities projects and on-going furniture/visual lifecycle needs
- Develop and maintain Franchise-specific catalogue of fixtures, props, furnishings, art, and display items; support international partners on design and technical requirements
- Create franchise specific standard fixture plans per new design concepts and update existing as needed
- Manage materials samples library and finishes schedules; develop virtual sample board for each concept; manage and maintain physical sample library
- Manage fleet roll outs, programs, and initiatives to include Brand alignment, budgeting, lead time planning, take-offs, orders, financial approvals, in-store delivery and follow-upWho You Are
- Superior time management, multitasking and organizational skills
- Ability to problem solve and develop creative solutions
- Ability to work independently and with the team while handling multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions
- Understanding of concepts and procedures specific to Store Design
- Proficient in Vectorworks & CAD software
