Job description

The visual operations manager will be responsible for the efficient back of house operation of the visual department. This includes responsibility of the Hsq wayfinding program, monitoring expense budgets, managing the tradesmen work requests and, participating in all Flagship Brand experience distortions and campaigns, as well as adhering to all safety standards.
This individual will support driving sales through supporting the visual department with the creative execution and strategic analysis of trends, key items and volume drivers. The successful candidate must have relevant leadership experience in Visual Merchandising, Store Presentation and the general retail market. This individual will report the HSQ Senior Director of Visual.
Essential Functions:
- Direct and manage all wayfinding installations, ensuring they are current to all movement of businesses withing the building.
- Lead team through creative process to conceptualize and design all visual merchandising component that support seasonal, fashion, trend and holiday campaigns within FOB
- Plan, manage and maintain both interior budget of $400 thousand and Holiday budget of $600 thousand annual: oversee cost controls on monthly/quarterly basis.
- Interface and collaborate with key partners to manage all timelines, deliveries and installations of all visual equipment, fixtures and shops which includes communication and collaboration between.

- Collaborate with key business partners to capture and support fashion, trend, marketing, special appearances and events to drive sales including: Fashion Office, Marketing, Events and Vendor Partners
- Clearly communicate all safety guidelines to visual team, ensure that all deadlines are met for compliance quarterly/yearly.
- Utilize latest technologies, industry trends and research to source new presentation concepts. Must have a strong interest and curiosity for design, art, interiors, graphics design
- Coach, train and develop Tradesmen and visual colleagues.
- Create and maintain engaged team by building trust and by promoting Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace.

Profile

- Bachelor's degree required.
- Over five years of experience in one of the following: Visual Merchandising, Design or Retail.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret instruction documents, communication packets, and procedure manuals.
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Established relationships with the visual, retail and store design vendor market.
- Strong analytical and creative thinking skills
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to independently organize multiple projects and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- This position may involve stooping, kneeling, climbing, crouching, as well as regular walking, standing, hearing, and talking.
- Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception and focus adjustment.
- Strong leadership profile and excellent negotiation skills.
- Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency and excellent follow-through.
- Demonstrate flexibility, creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp and Excel.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs are required
